Library Meeting Room information and policy

The Library has two photocopiers in the Reference Department and one photocopier on the second floor in the Children’s Department. The cost is 10 cents per page. Black and white one-sided copies only.

There is one typewriter for public use located in the Reference area.

Free scanning service is available. A Reference Librarian will scan items for patrons, but a flash drive needs to be provided to save scanned documents to.

A self-service public fax machine is available for use in the Reference Department. This is a pay service for out-going faxes only. Patrons may use a credit or debit card. The fax machine service takes VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  Domestic Charges are $1.50 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. Your card will be charged when your fax has been successfully transmitted.

Homebound Services

The Southbury Public Library provides delivery services to Southbury residents who are permanently or temporarily homebound due to disability or health problems. Senior citizens or others who are unable to drive also qualify for this free program. Library materials are delivered and picked up by library staff.
