Alice Paul:  While most people are familiar with Susan B. Anthony, this outstanding woman was responsible for women to get the vote, and spent her whole life fighting for women’s causes. 

Geraldine Ferraro: Geraldine Ferraro became famous for becoming the first female vice-presidential candidate representing a major American political party. How did she reach this pinnacle in her profession?

Toni McKeen is a popular lecturer in the tri-state area. She presents a wide variety of programs on travel destinations around the world, as well as prominent artists throughout history. She is also a well-known local genealogist, and has been conducting research on her family for the last 30 years. McKeen has been teaching genealogy classes in Ridgefield, CT for the last 14 years.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library. Space is limited and registration is required. This program will be done through Zoom.
