 ies with Connecticut author James R. Benn.\r\nJames R. Benn is the Dilys, 
 Barry, and Sue Federer Historical Mystery-award nominated author of the po
 pular Billy Boyle WWII mystery series and two stand-alone works. His novel
  The Blind Goddess was long-listed for the 2015 Dublin IMPAC Literary Awar
 d. Benn is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and has an MLS degr
 ee from Southern Connecticut State University. He worked in the library an
 d information technology fields for over thirty-five years before leaving 
 to write full-time. Benn and his wife Deborah Mandel live in Florida and C
 onnecticut.\r\nThe Billy Boyle series, published by Soho Press, has been h
 ailed as “meaty, old-fashioned, and thoroughly enjoyable,” by the Seat
 tle Times. The New York Times called it “spirited wartime storytelling
 .\r\nBilly Boyle, an Irish-American cop from Boston, helps his “uncle
  Ike Eisenhower in sensitive WWII military investigations in overseas Eur
 ope. This fact-based series focuses on true events from the Second World W
 ar and uses a fictional mystery to illuminate the deeper truths behind the
  history we think we know.\r\nThe most recent title is &quot;The Red Hors
 e&quot;. The 16th novel, &quot;Road of Bones&quot;, will be released in S
