Join us to learn more about composting. Explore the environmental benefits, how it helps the everyday garden, tips for composting and best methods for composting.

 Robert Lavorgna has taught “Composting for the Backyard Gardener” a multi-week class for the OLLI program at UCONN Waterbury Branch; mentored students at the UCONN Master Gardener Program; presented and discussed gardening and composting in many locations throughout northwestern Connecticut; presented Composting Basics at the Simsbury Sustainability Fair; and was a Garden Associate at White Flower Farm assisting in design, selection and care of plants. 

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this event is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. Registration is required.
