Want to bring more mindfulness and intention into your life? Join us for a fun and welcoming introduction to journal writing! Whether you're new to journaling or looking for fresh inspiration, this workshop will guide you through simple and meaningful ways to reflect, grow, and reconnect with your purpose. It’s the perfect way to start your journaling journey and discover how it can spark self-discovery and positive change. 

Through this workshop, you will:

  • Learn about the therapeutic benefits of journaling 

  • Receive thought-provoking writing prompts to inspire your journal entries Learn and practice a variety of journaling techniques

  • Leave with the resources & confidence to create a meaningful journaling practice of your own! 

Please bring your favorite journal or notebook along with a pen. 

Introduction to Journal Writing is led by Jane Rossi, a seasoned instructor and lifelong journal writer. Her distinctions include being a certified instructor of Journal to the Self® (CJT) and holding a certification in The Art of Journal Coaching (IAJW).

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this event is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. Registration is required.
