Event Details

Join the Bent of the River Audubon Center for a special storytime featuring the books "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss and "Bird Count" by Susan Richmond. After listening to the stories, participants are invited to create seed paper to take home and plant, and enjoy a special bird-themed library scavenger hunt!

"Bent of the River Audubon Center is a 700-acre nature sanctuary and education center located in Southbury, Connecticut. Along with Greenwich Audubon Center and Sharon Audubon Center, we are part of Audubon Connecticut, a state office of the National Audubon Society. Visitors are welcome to enjoy our trails, nature programs, and conservation-themed events throughout the year."
