Join us as we learn more about the War of 1812. This conflict was a minor war in comparison to the Napoleonic conflicts engulfing Europe.  But the major result of the War of 1812, is that Britain and America never went to war again.  Learn more about this "second war of independence."

Mark Albertson is the historical research editor for the Army Aviation magazine, and the historian for the Army Aviation Association of America. He has taught classes on military history at Norwalk Community College as well as the Lifetime Learners Institute. Albertson has authored several books on military history.
