Thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time as we recover from extreme damage caused by the flooding on August 18th & 19th. Information on the library’s reopening will be provided when it is available.

The library’s book drop is closed. For now, hold all returns or return them to any other Connecticut library. Please do not leave returns in front of the library. All Southbury fines will be waived.

Event Details

We're celebrating the 13th annual Take Your Child to the Library Day! Stop by the Youth Services department for our Open House Make or Take Craft-a-Thon! 

Make your craft while your browse for books or take home a fun and exciting winter or Valentine's paper craft to make later! Appropriate for all ages, though young children may need assistance. While supplies last.

Our Craft-A-Thon is free and open to residents of any town. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
