Event Details
On April 19, 1775, 700 British Regulars were met by 77 colonials at Lexington. Eight patriots were killed and the British column moved on to Concord. Here 400 militiamen waited and the battle was joined. This led to more colonials grabbing their rifles and joining their neighbors. By the end of the day, the British host retreated, 77 dead and 173 wounded. Join us as we explore this battle that started the American Revolution
