Stories & Crafts Storytime
Children ages 4 and 5 are invited to listen to stories and sing songs with the Children’s Librarian in the Program Room and then join their parents and caregivers for a craft that relates to the theme of the stories. Children should be able to sit independently to attend this storytime session. Registration is required.
Our Winter Session begins on Thursday, January 9 and runs six weeks until Thursday, February 12 . We begin at 10:30 am and the program runs approximately 30 – 45 minutes

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Each Tuesday and Thursday a local volunteer is available to answer your questions from 1:00-3:00 PM.
Appointments are walk-in only and on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Junior Friends
This offshoot of the Friends of the Southbury Public Library is for Grades 6-12 and meets once a month to help assist the Friends with various projects, including organizing and preparing items in the book sale. Meetings are the first Thursday of the month from 6-7:30pm. For each meeting, we'll meet at the First Floor Elevator at 6pm, and head down to the Lower Level (Basement).

This book club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 6pm.
Our book clubs are open to all, and no registration is required. All of the month's book club books can be picked up at the circulation desk.
This month we'll be reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
