Our doors may be closed, but our pickup window remains open! The library will remain closed until proper safeguards are in place.

We are very excited to be offering Window Pickup Service! Online booking is now available. Please click here to register for your time slot. You may also call 203-262-0626 and select option 6 to arrange a time on select days to pick up library materials.

We want to make this process safe to patrons and staff and fair to all our patrons; rules violations will result in no longer being able to use this service.

The Southbury Public Library will be closed to the public starting Monday, March 16 until further notice per order of the First Selectman.

  • All programs, outside meetings, and the Friends Book Sale are cancelled until further notice.

  • Please do not return any materials from other libraries to us. We are currently unable to send materials to other libraries.

  • All items currently checked out from the Southbury Public Library have been renewed through June 30th. If your items have not been renewed, please contact us and we will correct the issue.

  • Late fees on Southbury Library items will be waived until further notice.
