Join us to explore the art of photography with our volunteer Sophia.

Learn more about the basic principles of art and photography. This workshop will help you learn how to take better pictures by utilizing photography and art principles. This educational lecture will explore elements such as shape, line, texture, pattern, etc. Please bring a notepad and writing utensil. Note: this is not a tutorial on how to operate your camera. 

An avid photographer and student, Sophia runs a photography club at her school.  She is excited to share her passion with photography from one amateur to another.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this event is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. Registration is required.
